About Coinstick

We know payment is broken within Africa, international payment is much worse. We are
leveraging crypto currency and blockchain technology to help individuals receive money
into Africa from all corners around the globe and helping institutions and businesses make
payment to their global suppliers cheaply and seamlessly from Africa

Our Story

It all started back in 2020 at the heart of Covid - 19 when the world was at still and we needed to receive funds from our partners in the US. Dollar was extremely scarce in Nigeria and we needed to find alternatives to receive funds and convert to Naira. The option that seems the most efficient was when one of our partners added funds to his CashApp, bought BTC and sent to our wallet address, the funds dropped within 10 minutes and we got the funds converted to Naira without stepping out of the house. Unlike the traditional means of using US banks and waiting for 48 - 72 hours before it arrives in our banks in Nigeria, the stress of banks not having dollars and the hell you have to go through to get a trustworthy aboki to sell the dollars to at the best rate.

Moving into the cryptocurrency world also came with its challenges, getting a reliable vendor or platform to convert bitcoin to Naira was also challenging with series of scams and loss of funds to dubious vendors. This gave birth to CoinStick, we started out in 2021 with whatsapp and here we are today.
